1. What is Ribha?

Ribha is a platform that helps independent sellers manage their stores and sell products. When you place an order on Ribha, you are buying from an independent store owner — not from Ribha itself.

Ribha does not sell products, hold stock, collect your payment, or ship your order. Every product on Ribha belongs to an independent store owner who is responsible for it.

Think of Ribha as the shop premises, not the shopkeeper. The shopkeeper is the store owner you are buying from.

For legal purposes, Ribha is an intermediary under Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000. We do not control or endorse the products listed by store owners.

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order, or place the order under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

2. How placing an order works

2.1 Filling the order form

When you place an order you will be asked for your name, phone number, and delivery address. This is shared with the store owner (and, where applicable, with the source store fulfilling the order on their behalf — see §6.3) so they can fulfil and deliver your order.

2.2 Your order is not confirmed immediately

Placing an order creates a record of your intent to buy. It is not a binding sale contract. The store owner reviews the order and confirms it in their dashboard. You will receive a WhatsApp or SMS message when your order is confirmed.

2.3 Delivery charges are agreed after placing

The final total including delivery charges is not fixed at the time you place your order. After placing your order, the store owner will contact you on WhatsApp to agree the delivery charge. Your confirmed total — including delivery — will be sent to you once the order is confirmed.

Because no sale contract is formed until the store confirms your order on WhatsApp (see §2.2), there is no commitment to pay until that confirmation. If you do not agree with the final total, you can decline the order at no cost.

2.4 Minimum order quantity

Some products have a minimum number of units you must buy. This is set by the store owner and shown on the product page. You cannot place an order below this minimum.

2.5 Accepting these terms

By tapping Place Order you confirm that you have read and agreed to:

You also consent to the store owner and Ribha contacting you on WhatsApp and SMS at the phone number you provided for the purpose of completing this order — order confirmation, payment coordination, dispatch and delivery updates, and post-sale support. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying STOP.

2.6 Cancelling your order

You may cancel your order at no cost before the store owner confirms it on WhatsApp — simply message the store, or do not respond to the confirmation message and the store may cancel the order. After the store owner has confirmed your order, cancellation is governed by the store's return policy.

3. Payment

All payments are made directly to the store owner — not to Ribha. Ribha never collects, holds, or processes any payment on your behalf. Ribha does not store any UPI ID, bank account number, or card details — yours or the store's.

After placing your order, the store owner will contact you on WhatsApp to confirm payment details. Payment can be made via UPI, bank transfer, cash on delivery, or any other method the store owner accepts.

Ribha has no visibility into whether payment has been made between you and the store owner.

If anyone other than the store owner asks you to pay via Ribha or claims to be collecting payment on Ribha's behalf — do not pay them. Ribha does not collect payments. Report any such request to grievance@ribha.store.

4. Delivery

Delivery is the responsibility of the store owner. The store owner will ship your order and share a tracking number with you once dispatched. The store owner will notify you on WhatsApp or SMS when your order is shipped.

In some cases, the product may be shipped directly from a different supplier (the source store). This is transparent to you — your contact is always the store you ordered from, and all tracking and communication comes through them.

Ribha is not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, strikes, government action, internet outages, natural disasters, or any other circumstance outside the store owner's reasonable control.

5. Returns and refunds

5.1 The store's return policy applies

Each store sets its own return policy. Where a store has set a return policy, it is displayed on the product page — tap Return policy near the order form to read it before placing your order. The return window, conditions, and refund method are all set by the store owner.

If no return policy is shown, contact the store owner on WhatsApp to confirm their policy before paying.

For example, a store's policy may allow returns only for defective items, allow them only within a fixed window, offer exchange instead of refund, or not allow returns at all.

5.2 How to request a return

Contact the store owner directly on WhatsApp with your order number and the reason for your return. The store owner will respond within the timeframe stated in their policy.

5.3 Refunds are processed by the store owner

If your return is approved, the store owner will refund you directly — via UPI, bank transfer, or cash. Ribha does not process refunds.

5.4 If you have a problem with a store owner

If a store owner fails to fulfil your order, does not respond to a valid return request, or behaves dishonestly, you can report them to Ribha at grievance@ribha.store. Ribha may investigate and may suspend the store.

However, Ribha is not a party to the sale contract and cannot enforce refunds, compel performance, or guarantee financial recovery. Ribha is not liable for any loss arising from a transaction between you and a store owner. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are unaffected (see §10).
